 There
once was a 19-year old girl, who just came with her family to the United
States, leaving her friends, her job and her home in Kiev, Ukraine. She
was very scared, indeed. After all, she could only play piano and teach
music, but even that became a challenge without any English.
She
thought and she thought, and with a great pain in her heart, she decided
to quit teaching music and try to learn a new skills. She found a local
school and enrolled into a computer science and a business program, hoping
for a great money-making career.
Nine
years later...
Milana
Leshinsky is now a professional 31-year old Internet coach, with over 100
web sites designed for small business owners, dozens of e-books and hundreds
of articles published, and the founder of ACCPOW,
Association of Coaching & Consulting Professionals on the Web.
Milana has also launched a portal of services for coaches at Rich
Coach - Poor Coach.

Now, I know that coaches aren't supposed to talk about themselves too much,
but you did click on the link "About Milana", so there! :-)
Everybody has a dream. My dream has always been to work for myself doing
what I love. I have never been as close to realizing this dream as I am
now.
I love
my clients, and feel incredibly grateful to every customer who goes through
"my door" - my web site, that is. Helping them makes my life better.
As
a coach, I am sure, you meet people who are skeptical about what you can
do for them. My biggest challenge is usually convincing business owners
that the Internet can grow their bottom line. Many don't believe that making
money with a web site is possible.
I was
one of such people until last year, when I sold the reprint rights to my
first book. After that, in the 10 months of being online I was able to
make over $21,000. Well, that changed everything. If I could produce my
own income, I could do anything!
In
2002 I quit my full-time job and became a work-at-home mother of two.
I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world, because I absolutely
love what I do every day and teach others how they can do the same.
I was
just thinking today....If I lived 50 years ago, Internet wouldn't exist,
and I would've never discovered business ownership and entrepreneurship.
And, have I never had left the Ukraine, chances are I would've been an
unemployed overqualified music teacher.
